Pena Blanca Pt. 2 -- Joe's Triumph

A few months, a terrible case of heartbreak over a lost camera, and perhaps a little procrastination-induced inspiration during these last few weeks of the semester, and finally, here you have it: a video of Pena Blanca.

  1. Nice bicycle move at 1:25, but I know you were just posing for the camera... :)

Good to see the blog - keep up with the interesting posts. We've fallen off a bit but the climbing season is starting up again.

  2. Saucisson nailed it-- some ofthe sweetest toe-hook/shake-out pretty-boy posturing I've ever seen!
    And sweet editing, dp

  3. It is harder to tell but the two crux moves earlier in the climb also involved bicycles. Probably the most bicycle-intensive problem I've done.

As for the last one, I was hoping to take my shirt off while hanging there, but it was a little cold.

  4. Well, I almost had you confused with Sharma, what with the Evolv sponsorship program on your feet. Then I realized you were too skinny. And a bit too pale, although I can't really tell with you white boys. ;)

  5. Wow! Great music, three camera angles, evolv shoes, pro spotting and mismatched crash pads (that you clearly don't need)!!!! All that's missing is the cheque from your sponsor. Way to send, Joe. Don't pay any attention to the great yellow peril.... White boys indeed.
